Shark Alarm At Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach is one of the famous hotspots among vacationers and locals in Sydney, Australia. On New Year’s Day, the waters on the Bondi Beach were deserted. The shark siren sounded and thousands scurried and packed the shore. Amidst the refusals, swimmers and surfers were forced out of the water.

Lifeguards at Bondi Beach have spotted a 2 m long shark lurking on the northern headland of Bondi Beach. The shark was spotted at around 4 pm and Bondi Beach was closed as a precaution.  Westpac rescue helicopter crew and Surf Life Saving NSW scanned the coastline.

After a twenty minute search, swimmers and surfers were allowed to return to waters.
