Qatar Joins Oneworld Airline Alliance

One of the leading airlines giants in the world – Qatar Airways joins an award winning alliance – Oneworld Alliance. This was announced at the ceremony held at New York, United States. The Gulf carrier is the first airline to enjoy membership of an airline alliance after decades of independent operations.

Qatar Airways highlights the importance of alliances for the airline industry thus the strategic advantages of networking and privileges. The airline became an Oneworld alliance member to strengthen competitive offering as well as thrive on service excellence for their customers.

The integration of the alliance system to Qatar Airways would take duration of more than 12 months. Other Oneworld alliance member airlines include British Airways, Cathay Pacific and Qantas.
