Qantas Adds Live Updates To Apple Passbook

Australia’s flagship carrier, Qantas has updates its Passbook (mobile boarding pass system) to include real time notifications. Customers who have added mobile boarding passes to their Passbook app will enjoy live updates of flight details, delays and any other schedule changes.

The primary intention of the airline is to provide a seamless boarding process to passengers by saving time, reduce the need to rely on airport announcements, departure boards. Instead, passengers have the privilege of directly heading straight to the gate with the latest updates on their flight schedules.
