Oman Air Announces The Revision of Government Tax In Sri Lanka

With the new revision of government tax in Sri Lanka, the embarkation levy for passengers is Rs. 3,250.00 effective 1 January 2013. Reservation Systems of Oman Air will be updated respectively for all travel commencing after the effective date.

The airline will re-issue tickets with the new applicable tax for passengers who have already booked tickets and begin travel after 1 January 2013.

In circumstances where the passenger turns up for departure with respect to the previous levy of Rs. 1,500.00, the airline will ensure to collect to accumulate the difference and reissue the tickets for travelling

However, refusal to pay the updated embarkation levy and conform to the new revision of government tax will prompt action to retain passengers from boarding the aircraft.
