Olympics Terminal at Heathrow Airport

Anticipating throngs of travellers from around the world for the London Summer Olympics 2012, Heathrow Airport has undertaken massive efforts to offer a great service. However, with keen expectations in massive passenger numbers, the airport has opened a temporary ‘Olympic Terminal’.

The terminal is catered for all Olympic official, support staff and athletes for three days after the games end. Heathrow look forward to more than 10,000 individuals and over 30,000 baggage items. The temporary structure features 31 security desks and 7 security lanes to handle the anticipated in numbers.
