Kenya – International Camel Derby 2012

The spectacular event has become more than a sport for enthusiasts. The sporting event has become extremely popular as a tourist attraction swarming the Maralal town with travellers worldwide.

The Camel Derby has been in existence for more than two decades in the remote town of Maralal in Samburu County. The event gathers spectators as well as competitors from all over the world including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Mexico, Holland, Italy and South Africa.
