The Indian premier airline, Jet Airways goes green with the help from IBM. The IBM helps to map the carbon emissions and optimise fuel efficiency in each aircraft. With the latest green initiative, Jet Airways is capable of accurately calculating, tracking and reporting aircrafts emissions.

The project is part of the 10-year strategic partnership between IBM and Jet Airways signed in 2010. The focus of the project is the core business and improving operational efficiencies. As a strategic partner, IBM provides a range of services including data centre operations, end user services, central helpdesk, network management services and server storage operations.

Jet Airways operates a fleet of 99 aircrafts, serving to more than 70 destinations worldwide.IBM has more than 50 years experience in aviation and providing expertise to top airlines and airports around the world.
