Hawaii – The Aloha State

Of all the states in the United States of America, Hawaii is the most isolated. Interestingly, being the only island state, it is also the only state to not have straight lines in its borders.

Hawaii’s diverse natural scenery, warm tropical climate and its abundance of public beaches, oceanic surroundings, and a multitude of active volcanoes make it one of the most sought-after destinations for tourists – American and foreign – as well as surfers, biologists – marine and otherwise – and volcanologists. It is also known for a few historical sites and locations, the most famous of which is Pearl Harbour, which was the location of the first modern military attack on American soil by another nation.

The state is made up of the Hawaiian Archipelago, a set of volcanic islands in the Pacific Ocean that had a native Polynesian people, who are still resident in the state.

Hawaii State is known for its cultural and ethnic diversity, with a multitude of races living in peace within the state. Among its inhabitants are peoples originating in Europe, Africa, Japan, the Philippines, and the native Hawaiian population.

The popular travel website TripAdvisor.com lists the following as the most popular destinations within Hawaii State:

Honolulu

Honolulu is the state capital, and the largest city in the US State of Hawaii. It is located on the island of Oahu, and is an exciting, buzzing, and vibrant city, which can be described as both metropolitan and cosmopolitan. The city is home to a diverse population and it a melting point of many different cultures, including Asian, African America, Native American and White. This adds value to the city in terms of attractiveness for tourists, and in terms of richness in culture.

Princeville has no less than two championship golf courses, each offering challenging fairways and unsurpassed views over the ocean. The coastline itself is pure magic.
