Chisinau: The City of Mother Nature

I have been planning my holiday for a long time. This time I wanted to spend it in a peaceful and in a place completely covered by Nature. In order to find such place, I reached out to my backpacker friends. Many of them suggested me to try a place called ‘Chisinau’. As I thanked them for the advice, I also did some study about the city as well. ‘Chisinau’ is the green capital city of the ‘Republic of Moldova’. It is also the European city with the highest number of natural locations. Mother Nature has gifted ‘Chisinau’ with a few of her best landscapes and a gorgeous climate. The city is also famous for another thing; it is a drink – it is the Wine! This is the place where you always can quench your thirst for Wine.

Based on my friends’ recommendations, I booked a room at ‘Aria Hotel Chisinau’. Though it’s little far from the heart of the city, it was worth the stay. The reasons given by my friends were so true. I was offered an unusually stylish and spacious room. I felt really comfortable because the staffs were friendly and were ready to help me at any given time. I lost my mac charger while travelling and the staffs were able to afford me a replacement unit within a couple of hours. Their Wi-Fi connection was comparatively faster, the breakfast was commendable and overall, it was a wonderful stay at ‘Aria Hotel’.

As the first thing at ‘Chisinau’, I wanted to look around the city first. The best way my friends referred was the ‘VELOPOINT’. I rented a bike from them and joined a group of travellers with a guide and paddled around the town on a bicycle. Cycling was simple and effective as the guide took us through on and off roads. Be mindful of the oncoming traffic as they aren’t much fond of these tours. We touched through wonderful places, fed the cameras with loads of photographs and found plenty of nice places to eat. The bikes were well maintained and prices were fair enough. I too recommend this tour for newcomers!

I spent three hours on the cycling tour. Then, I wanted to spend the rest of my day in the parks. First, I went to ‘Stefan cel Mare Park’ and later visited the ‘Dendrarium Park’. The parks were located within a couple of blocks distance. The time I spent was quality and heart-whelming. Mother Nature helped my mind and soul to calm down and to chase away my snags. If you need some air, try these parks, entry fees are really low.

The next day I tried the ‘Hot Air Balloon Trip’. I had the most beautiful and unforgettable experience. It was my first time in the Hot Air Balloon and the flight was smooth as silk. The views of the city and the countryside were fruitful for my eyes. Please allow me to write another detailed article about the Balloon trip and the Wine tour.
