British Airways plans to provide services to operate in Chengdu, China. BA is the only UK carrier to offer direct flights to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport and London Heathrow.
The airline will be flying thrice weekly starting from 22 September 2013. Tickets to the new flights are on sale since 19 December 2012.
The London – Chengdu route will be operated by Boeing 777 with four class configurations. This includes – First, Club World (Business Class), World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) and World Traveller (Economy).
The new service will allow travellers to experience the ultra modern hub in London Heathrow Terminal 5. Thus connects to an extensive network of flights to Europe, Africa and Americas.
