United Airlines to Cut More Flights in 2012

United Airlines plans to cut down on flights due to rising fuel costs and slow moving economy. As a response to the sluggish economic outlook, the airline aims to cut down 2% to 3% of flying capacity from starting from September. Capacity is one of the most important factors in the airline industry and performance.  Capacity indicates the number of seats times the number of miles flown.
