1. Guacamole
Consisting mainly of Avосаdо, Guacamole is a blend of herbs, spices, and ingredients depending on your taste buds, it could be sweet and tangy or spicy.
2. Tortilla & Taco
The tortilla is considered as one of the staple Mexican dishes that is produced from wheat flour or corn. Folded tortillas are used to make taco which is a snack that is stuffed with different tasty fillings.
3. A La Veracruzana
This entails cooking fish or seafood in a tomato sauce enlivened with olives, capers, and chilies. This tangy, spicy complement is popular with shrimp and red snapper.
4. Nachos
Nachos are triangles of tortilla that has been deep fried until crispy and topped with a variety of spicy tomato, pepper mixture, and grated cheese.
5. Chicken Tortilla Soup
This is a favourite comfort food which consists of chicken breasts, corn, beans, and other delicious spices which are simmered in a pot for several hours.
6. Chicken Fajita
Fajitas were traditionally made with grilled steak, which is quickly seared on a griddle or grill, sliced and served with peppers, onions, and tortillas.
7. Smoky Shredded Pork Tacos
This dish, widely known as “Mexican pork chilli” is liked by many due to its smoky barbecue flavour. It is served in crunchy tortilla shells with well-ripped avocado slices.
8. Huevos Rancheros
This dish consisting of lightly fried tortillas and fried eggs is topped with several interesting ingredients. Especially fresh homemade salsa is used to garnish the dish and served with refried beans or known as frijoles refritos, slices of avocado, fried potatoes, native herbs along with extra chilli and peppers on the side.
9. Creamy Chicken Enchiladas
Are made with a white cream sauce, served with crisp tortillas and Mexican rice and can be also served with guacamole or sour cream.
10. Churros
The Mexican version of doughnuts, these fried strips of dough are crisp and sweet, thanks to their coating of cinnamon sugar.
