Air China Airlines

Air China aims to be the airline of choice for travellers, serving its customers with warmth and panache. Economy Class
  • Air China’s Economy class is divided into Premium Economy Class and the regular Economy Class. In Premium Economy Class, passengers get even more leg room (110% of the leg room in regular Economy Class), extra space between seats, enhanced interactive inflight audio video on demand (AVOD) entertainment options, and power outlets. Passengers can check in one bag not exceeding 30kg. Regular Economy Class seats pitch at 31”-33” on long haul flights and 30” (31” in Airbus 321) on short-haul flights. Passengers receive free meals and drinks. The newer aircraft have the seatback personal entertainment systems, while the older aircraft do not. On short hauls, food will be provided, but may not be complete meals but snacks. Continental breakfasts, hot porridge and similar Chinese favourites, fruits, desserts, and snacks are offered by the airline. For short duration flights, passengers will be served beverages and snacks, while passengers on medium and long-haul flights that coincide with meal times will be served meals. The meals are served in beautiful arrangements, heightening your appreciation.

Business Class
  • The Capital Pavilion is the Business Class of Air China, catering to local and international business travellers. Enjoy your business trip in the comfort of seats that recline 170 degrees, and are 190cm long and 54cm wide. The seats are widely spaced, giving you just that right amount of privacy you need to work or relax. The traditional Chinese menu as well as the more Western options will tickle your taste buds no matter which meal you desire. Lie back to great music, and relax with the wines on offer. You will arrive at your destination relaxed and ready to go to your next meeting. Capital Pavilion Business Class travellers (selected classes) can also enjoy a free limousine ride from your destination location in either Beijing or Shanghai to the airport. The service is punctual and gives you peace of mind before and after your flight. Capital Pavilion passengers can access lounges at the airports, where they can drink, smoke, dine, or watch videos. Internet is available at the lounges.

First Class
  • The Forbidden Pavilion First Class of Air China’s flights (on selected international flights) sets the patrons apart, and provides them with amazing and warm, heartfelt service. Lie-flat beds; service that distinguishes the traveller; quiet, comfortable, and individual attention; and extra space characterize Air China’s First Class. The cabin is also equipped with enhanced technological features. Seats are luxurious, giving personal space, surrounded by furniture that sets each individual passenger apart from the rest of the passengers. In-Flights
  • In the Forbidden Pavilion and Capital Pavilion Classes, enjoy interactive games, cartoons, movies, and music on demand. In the Economy Classes, the newer aircraft have seatback entertainment systems. The older aircraft have the overhead screen. Choose from over 98 local and foreign films available in multiple languages. Create your own entertainment from the choices on offer. Aviation magazines and newspapers, 12 music channels, and eight classic movies add to your entertainment options. Meals on board the aircraft add to the entertainment of the flight, offering great accompaniment to the movies and music. Seasonal variations, diverse menus, combinations of western and eastern food go a long way to make the meals memorable.   • Air China operates flights to 289 routes, of which 73 are international flights, 14 are regional, and an impressive 202 are domestic. These destinations are in 143 cities in 30 countries. Over 6,900 flights are on offer, and with its membership in Star Alliance, it has a network of 1,329 destinations in 194 countries, linking its passengers to the entire world. Within the domestic market, the airline flies to Erdos, Baotou, Guilin, Lhasa, Manchuria, and Jiamusi. Air China flies to and from Beijing, PuDong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Tokyo, and Singapore in the east, and Los Angeles, Vancouver, London, and New York in the west. It also flies to Sydney, Frankfurt, Seoul, and Bangkok. The proposed flights for 2013 include Beijing to Chiang Mai, daily flights to Chongqing to San Francisco, Beijing to Geneva, Chengdu to Frankfurt, and Beijing to Houston.
