Whale/Dolphin Watching

The Indian Ocean that surrounds Sri Lanka is filled with sea life and among them are the grand artists of the sea! The mischievous dolphins and mighty whales puts on a massive play in the months of December, January, February, March and April, around the coasts of Sri Lanka. As the country is located amidst the migrating routes of whales and dolphins, you are able to spot many migratory sea species, including blue whales, sperm whales, pilot whales, fin whales and a variety of dolphins. The best places to watch whales and dolphins are off the Southern, Eastern or the West coast of Sri Lanka.

Rock Climbing

The excitement and thrills that come along with the experience of climbing a mountain, is just something that kicks in the rush of adrenaline. The Knuckles range, Ella range, Habarana, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Horton Plains and Buttala, provides challenging activities for the rock climbers.
