The Six Nation 2020 is already upon us respectively to anticipate one winner among six countries of England, France, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. These cultural nations go head to head on five rugby weekends expecting to demonstrate the championship.

In 2019 Wales had become the dominating champion who scored five out of five, and also declared The Grand Slam for defeating every team and Triple Crown for beating the Home Nations– England, Scotland and Ireland.

2020 Six Nation Championship is known as the Guinness Six Nations, officially sponsored by The Guinness Company introduced 261 years ago in Ireland.

History

In 1871, England and Scotland played the first rugby union international, and in 1999 Scotland was the last team to become the winner of the Five Nations Trophy when Italy joined in the following year. Since then, the championship named as the Six Country festival of rugby.

The Venue

The games had scheduled to begin on Saturday, February 01st. Opening by Wales versus Italy at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Ireland versus Scotland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, and on Sunday, February 02nd France versus England at the Stade de France in Paris.

The End

The 2020 Six Nation Championship event will be ending on March 14th, and its called as the “Super Saturday” with the final game at 8.00 pm GMT in Paris.

TV Schedule

The BBC and ITV will be the main broadcasters of the game in the UK. The SRC will be broadcasting in Wales, FR2 in France, TV3 in Ireland, DMAX in Italy, and NBC will be broadcasting every championship game in the USA.

  • Wales vs Italy on Saturday, February 01st at 2.15 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on BBC and S4C – Principality Stadium, Cardiff.
  • Ireland vs Scotland on Saturday, February 01st at 4.45 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on ITV – Aviva Stadium, Dublin.
  • France vs England on Sunday, February 02nd at 3.00 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on BBC – Stade de France, Paris.

Round Two

  • Ireland vs Wales on Saturday, February 08th at 2.15 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on ITV and SRC – Aviva Stadium, Dublin.
  • Scotland vs England on Saturday, February 08th at 4.45 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on BBC – BT Murrayfield, Edinburgh.
  • France vs Italy on Sunday, February 09th at 3.00 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on BBC – Stade de France, Paris.

Round Three

  • Italy vs Scotland on Saturday, February 22nd at 2.15 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on ITV – Stadio Olimpico, Rome.
  • Wales vs France on Saturday, February 22nd at 4.45 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on BBC and S4C – Principality Stadium, Cardiff.
  • England vs Ireland on Sunday, February 23rd at 3.00 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on ITV – Twickenham, London.

Round Four

  • Ireland vs Italy on Saturday, March 07th at 2.15 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on ITV – Aviva Stadium, Dublin.
  • England vs Wales on Saturday, March 07th at 4.45 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on ITV and S4C – Twickenham, London.
  • Scotland vs France on Sunday, March 08th at 3.00 pm GMT, will be broadcasting on BBC – BT Murrayfield, Edinburgh.
