KLM Announces Further Expansion At Budapest Airport

Dutch carrier, KLM has announced plans to increase flights at Budapest Airport, Hungary.  The carrier will be boosting up to 27 flights per week. KLM will be operating four times daily between Budapest and Amsterdam.

The new flights will start operations on 28 April 2013. The airline planned to boost Budapest flights in response customer demand.

The airline will be upgrading the current Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a new and modern Boeing 737-900 aircraft. The aircraft will be spacious with a seat capacity of 189.

Simultaneously, the low cost carrier Transavia will switch Budapest flights from Amsterdam to Rotterdam to four flights weekly.
