Scottish Peak Declares As ‘Wheelchair Friendly’

Scotland boasts stunning natural beauty, rich landscapes and a picturesque countryside. Enthralled with peaky mountains for adrenaline junkies, some of the highest mountains in Scotland are popular vantage points to view the spectacular beauty of the surroundings. Experiencing breathtaking beauties, serene sights and exploring high peaks were limited to able-bodied intrepid travellers, outdoor enthusiasts and adventure lovers.

Majority of the landmarks scattered in the countryside Scotland are accessible.  With the initiative from the FieldFare Trust, one of the tallest peaks of Schiehallion Mountain in Perthshire recording to over 3,000 ft to be declared as open to disabled visitors.

However, with the determined initiative from FieldFare Trust has enabled the highest landscapes and mountains in Scotland to be wheelchair friendly. Although FieldFare Trust provided approval for the first third of the path and allows reaching the summit, it is the consent and the decision of the wheelchair users to decide whether to make it to the top.
