Etihad Airways expands operations to Latin America

Operations to the first South American destination will commence on 1 July 2013. Flights will operate daily and non-stop between Sao Paulo and Abu Dhabi.

At present, the airline has 38 codeshare agreements with airlines all over the world, offering over a combined destination network of 300 cities worldwide.

One of the major growth strategies executed by Etihad Airways is through codeshare agreements. Currently the airline is in negotiations with potential South American airline partnerships.
